Welcome to First Steps Pre School

We wish our usual supervisor and deputy (Lou Mawditt and Lucy Vallerine) all the very best as they go on maternity/adoption leave from June 2024. In their absence Becky Russell will be acting EY Manager/Supervisor and Rachel Kehoe will be Deputy – Room Lead.  Please bear with us while we amend the details on the website.

Please note visits to First Steps are by appointment only

First Steps Pre-school has a clear Christian identity.  It operates on the Christian principals of love, forgiveness, respect for self and others, acceptance of all cultures, responsible behaviour and enjoyment of the facilities we provide for the children and their families.

At First Steps we provide an inclusive, safe, caring and happy Christian environment where all children can learn, play and develop as individuals.

We recognise that children have individual needs and will develop at different rates.  We offer an indoor and outdoor learning environment and work closely with parents and carers to encourage all children to reach their potential.
